| GROUP 1 |
| These intensives are for actors interested in pursuing a professional career in acting. They offer a new approach to training which was developed by The Gately/Poole Conservatory in 2003, in conjunction with leading managers and agencies from the industry. In the Los Angeles workshops, the actors will experience an immersion into the training process with classes which will last 4 1/2 - 5 hours each day. The lessons are approached from a variety of perspectives to build a solid acting technique in a sequential, step-by-step manner. There are 2 acting classes, movement-physical technique, voice and speech, and on-camera classes offered each day. Private coaching is included as needed. The program covers the early curriculum of the Meisner Technique, in addition to innovations developed by The Gately/Poole Conservatory and integrated into the training. | GROUP 2 |
| This intensive is for returning actors wanting to expand on the techniques previously learned at The Gately/Poole Conservatory. We hope that having worked with us before you look forward to the high expectations we have, the pace of the intensive, the demanding schedule, and the direction we’re moving with you individually. Classes will run 4 1/2 - 5 hours each day, and by limiting the number of attendees and moving quickly, we will continue to strengthen your skills as a performer. | This is an advanced intensive for actors with a thorough background in actor training or comparable professional experience. The goal will be to prepare for the pilot season by focusing upon cold reading and audition technique, utilizing scripts typically used in pilot season auditions. Advanced technique in solving acting problems is included as part of the workshop. An audition is required for this workshop. | SUMMER INTENSIVE |
| These intensives are for actors interested in pursuing a professional career in acting. The actors experience a total immersion into the training process with classes which last 8-9 hours each day. The lessons are approached from a variety of perspectives to build a complete and solid acting technique in a sequential, step-by-step manner. There are 2 acting classes, movement, physical technique, voice and speech, and on-camera classes offered each day. Private coaching is included as needed. The program covers the entire 1st semester of the Meisner Technique in addition to innovations developed by The Gately/Poole Conservatory and
